The fabric begins as pure white and then is hand-dyed using a variety of techniques, including the ancient Japanese art of Shibori. With this technique, the fabric undergoes many treatments such as immersion dyeing, various resists, discharging and over-dyeing. Thus every piece has a palette and character all its own. With fitted silhouettes this collection is available in two lengths and three collar styles. Several styles of one-of-a-kind hand-dyed silk scarves are also available.
